H&H X Nick Saari
As any brand knows, it's the regulars that make a shop feel like home. For us that's people like dapper New Yorker Nicholas Saari, pictured here in our new Chiltern suit paired with his own penny loafers, who dropped by last week to chat.
H+H: Name a book that changed the way you think.
Nick: A Legacy of Change. No one will know this book. It was written by my Grandpa and Grandmother. It depicts his immigration from Istanbul in the 1920s to the United States, where he later became a successful neurologist. As I read the book, it gave me a good understanding of my place in the world. Not only did it teach to stay humble, but also gave me inspiration to leave a legacy of my own for my grandchildren.
H+H: What do you love most about London?
Nick: There are so many nooks and crannies of this city to explore, which I truly love. Another thing I appreciate a lot is the mens style here. Guys seem to dress up here and present themselves well. Something that I noticed in my first couple weeks here.
H+H: And the thing you miss most about New York?
Nick: The obvious would be the people (family / friends). But, I will tell you it is hard to find a good slice or sandwich here in London. It is hard to beat NYC for their quick slices on the go or corner delis.
H+H: As a consumer what would you like to see from menswear in 2022?
Nick: Quality product. I want to understand where and who made what I am wearing. There is so much glut in the mens fashion world. If consumers can focus on what they actually need from quality artisans, the world would be a better place.
